Our Elite Health Evaluation

A comprehensive and eye-opening look into your complete hormonal, metabolic, nutritional, and physical health.

The Elite Health Baseline

The process begins with our world-renowned Elite Health Evaluation. This daylong event is focused on gaining valuable data and statistics that will tell us more about your overall health, including any underlying conditions. Your results will be used to design a one-of-a-kind program to increase your energy, stamina, libido, mental sharpness, and longevity.

Components of the Elite Health Evaluation

Overall Health and Fitness:

Overall Health and Fitness:

Metabolic and Hormonal Assessment

Your hormones are what primarily determine how you feel and perform. From our extensive panel of blood work and metabolic profile, to our cardiac markers and inflammatory risk factors-- we cover every possible inch of the current state of your hormones. Finding and regulating the perfect balance is a key piece to increasing lean muscle mass, energy levels, sleep quality and libido.

Artery Health:

Carotid Intima Media Thickness (CIMT)

The CIMT Test is an FDA-approved, advanced ultrasound evaluation of your carotid arteries. It aids in the detection of existing plaque and provides an extremely precise measurement of your artery wall thickness. When your artery wall thickens, it can be an early sign of vascular disease, increasing your risk of heart attack and stroke. Instead of waiting for these life-threatening events to take place-- Cenegenics provides a preventive measure of protection that can dramatically change the outcome of your life.

Body Fat Analysis:

Body Composition

Using the DEXA scan, we can find your current body composition of fat to lean mass and determine how it is distributed across your body. This is the only method available that can target dangerous fat around vital organs. The ability to tap into this previously inaccessible data on body composition not only uncovers disease risk, it gives us a reliable baseline on how we can help you set and measure realistic goals.

DEXA scan is known as the most accurate method of body composition testing, DEXA can help measure body fat as well as muscle mass and bone density

Bone Health:

Bone Density Testing

Osteopenia (low bone density) and osteoporosis (very low bone density) increase the risk of fractures. Low bone density is not just a woman’s problem. Many men have low bone density as well. While hip fractures are not as common in men, the mortality rate after a hip fracture is roughly 20% as compared to 7.5% in women. Our program strengthens and preserves bone mass, while decreasing the risk of possible fractures and breaks.

Traditional practitioners tend to attribute adrenal fatigue symptoms to general signs of aging, Optimal health specialists recognize causes of adrenal fatigue and use specific criteria to diagnose the syndrome

Memory and Brain Function:

Cognitive Testing

Brain health is important at every stage of life, but becomes especially crucial when entering your mid to later years. You need the ability to function and perform at a high level, frequently making quick decisions and flawless deliveries. Cognitive function is a key part of your Cenegenics plan and is given equal attention as compared to every other aspect. CNS Vital Signs, a computerized cognitive assessment, enables us to evaluate important brain functions including memory, processing speed, executive function and other vital brain processes. You can stay sharp, think clearly, and maintain your edge for life through our Elite Health Program.

Cardiovascular health:

Fitness Assessment

VO2 Max Tests are all about functional capacity. The test itself is specifically geared toward your ability to progressively increase your intensity of cardiovascular exercise. It’s an extremely accurate indicator of your cardiovascular fitness--and you don’t need to be an athlete to perform it! Whether you’re sitting at a desk all day or running marathons regularly, we’ll effectively test your aerobic & anaerobic performance.

Cardiovascular health:

Endothelial Function

The Endothelix test measures your body's ability to regulate bloodflow through your cardiovascular system. Cardiovascular disease develops over many years and this test will give you a quick and easy way of determining if you are headed towards a heart attack, stroke, or other cardiovascular diseases. Based on your test results your doctor may recommend lifestyle modifications.

Nutrition and Exercise Counseling

There’s an incredible amount of control you can gain over your health by using the right forms of exercise and nutrition for your unique body and lifestyle. We walk you through how to successfully eat out, cook simple and keep everything delicious. Many of our patients find that their personalized plans don’t just make them feel incredible, they genuinely taste better than what they were eating before!

Physician Consultation

After your physical examination, your Cenegenics Philadelphia physician will spend as much time as necessary with you, answering any and all questions followed by a detailed review of all of your tests and lab work. Together, you and your physician will develop an ongoing plan that makes sense for you. This experience will be an eye-opening, exciting, and hopeful one.
